KBSKLT Regular Test

Test Environment Check before taking a test

1. Device : You can take the test only on PC
- Available : desktop(○), laptop(○) / Not available : mobile(X), tablet(X)

2. Operating System : Windows (10 or higher), Mac OS
- Browser : Chrome

3. Browser automatic translation function "OFF" required
- [Settings] > [Languages] > [Use Google Translate] 'OFF'

4. Monitor resolution: 1920*1080 FHD or higher
- Other things to check: Video camera, sound equipment such as speakers

※ If there's no sound,
- Please find the speaker icon at the bottom right of the monitor screen and check the sound option.
- Please search for sound settings at the bottom left search box of the monitor screen and check the properties.

※ If the cam screen does not appear,
- The cam only works with the Chrome browser. Please check if you are using the Chrome browser.
- When the "Request Camera Permission" notification message appears in the upper left corner of the screen, click the "Allow" button.
- If the notification message does not appear or if you click the "Block" button, change the settings in the Chrome browser under [Settings] > [Privacy and Security] > [Site Settings] > [Camera].
(Check to approve use request, remove "www.kbsklt.com" from the "Not allowed to use your camera" list)

Guidelines for taking a test

1. The test starts at 11:00 (in Korean Time, Regular Test) for all applicants, but the end can end at different times for each applicant.
2. Examinee must wait 20 minutes before the start of the test.
3. You cannot enter after 10 minutes after the start time of the test, and after the total test time, the answers are automatically submitted and the test is over.
4. The test will be conducted in the order of 'Listening - Reading' (KBSKLT-I type) or 'Listening - Reading - Writing' (KBSKLT-II type).
5. The test screen is automatically saved every minute.
6. If you have solved all the questions before the end of the set test time, you can move on to the next subject or submit them first.

7. The following actions during the test are considered cheating.
- All actions except for the test screen, such as leaving the test screen, running pop-up, and minimizing the screen.
- Camera departure and 3rd party recognition.
- Staring at a desk, wall, camera, etc. other than the test screen.

Precautions for taking a test

1. If the following cheating is detected during the test, the test will be nullified and the qualification to take the test will be suspended for the next two years.
- The act of possessing or using electronic or communication devices.
- The act of trying to see or see things other than the test screen.
- Any act related to the leakage or distribution of test questions.
- The act of forgery or alteration of a transcript.
- The act of requesting a proxy test or taking the test on behalf of a proxy.
